Prairie Hunting Blinds
Hunting is more than a pastime or a hobby for our family. We have a true vented interest in each season, regardless of the game. As the seasons would come and go, all I could think about is what an asset a good strong hunting blind would be to our hunting. I spent many hours in the shop thinking of ways to build a blind that was sturdy yet portable. I knew that in the field it was of utmost importance to have a blind that could handle the Midwest weather and winds to making the hunting days longer. I studied what else was on the market & found strong products but each was missing something to make it the right product for our area. Like I always say where do you ever hunt and don't see a round bale in the area. So I sat down and made a list of necessities to get things going.
I started the building process and went through a number of prototypes before we got it right. I knew we had to have a blind that was realistic and nothing is more realistic than REAL hay. Another priority was strength. I know the Midwest winds and how they can toss around a pop up blind like a ragdoll. I can STAND on top of this blind that shows their strength! Finally, I knew they had to be spacious for multiple hunters and archery hunters. These blinds fit two adult hunters comfortably. Archery hunters have PLENTY of room to draw back. The blinds have enough room to bring your kids or grandkids out to the field & they won’t be in your way when it’s time to harvest your game. I’m a passionate hunter who wanted a hunting blind that could handle the Midwest and prairie hunting blinds are the ticket.
A little about my self, Im from eastern South Dakota and a diehard hunter, everything from archery deer and turkeys to predator hunting. Also I love to do a lot of bird hunting with my small munsterlander pointer "Remi". I really love getting new people interested in hunting like I have with my wife, I think she has become a better archer than myself. I just wanted to show some of my most recent trophys I have taken, and to say thanks for taking the time to read about myself and how the Prairie Hunting Blinds got their start.
